Production Superintendent, New Development- Roosevelt, Utah - Posted 2012-03-20Berry Petroleum Company has an immediate opening in Roosevelt, Utah, for an experienced Production Superintendent-New Development. This position will report directly to the Uinta Asset Manager located in Denver, Colorado. Duties include: - responsibility for having the lead in directing all field personnel in the development and execution of all “new development” projects within the Uinta Basin. –Proactively managing a multi-disciplinary team to meet strategic, organizational and operational objectives. –Will ensure the company’s assets are developed and operated in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. –Responsible for prioritizing and problem solving operational issues and developmental plans. –Will work with the management team to ensure business unit and organizational requirements are met. This position will be a critical part of the initial design and implementation of all new development within the operating area. Qualifications: a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with previous management experience, including exposure to diverse aspects of the operations, such as production, drilling, completions, gas gathering, compression, environment and safety. Knowledge of new well permitting process with all state, governmental, and tribal agencies is a plus. Should possess strong planning and scheduling skills, budgeting and cost control abilities, problem solving and leadership skills. The successful candidate must have a proven track record.
