PC-LAN Support Specialist �Midland, TX - Posted 2012-09-05

Berry Petroleum Company is seeking a PC-LAN support specialist in Midland, Texas. This position will help setup and maintain basic network operations, including assembly of network/PC hardware, and provides assistance to the network administrator; perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems; be responsible in assisting the upgrade of network hardware and software components as required; install, upgrade and configure network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and files services; respond to needs and questions of users concerning their access of network resources, and instruct users in use of equipment, software, and manuals; maintain accurate inventory counts of all company owned hardware and installed software; responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems; recommends or performs minor remedial actions to correct problems. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
