The telephone number is maintained and answered by an independent company. It is available every day, 24 hours a day. To assure anonymity, calls will be transcribed and forwarded to the Company counsel.
This Procedure is not intended to be used for personal complaints or grievances that do not involve concerns regarding questionable accounting and auditing matters.
Any complaint or grievance submitted to the Company using this Procedure that does not express concerns regarding questionable accounting and auditing matters will be submitted to the appropriate department or officer of the Company to be handled in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures related to such complaints or grievances.
If anonymous submissions are made, then the follow up may be hampered because the person submitting a concern cannot be contacted for further information.
Employees are also encouraged to make submissions through the management channels of the Company. No retribution or retaliation shall be imposed on any person for making a submission of concerns regarding questionable accounting and auditing matters. Letters, memoranda or transcripts of calls will be received, retained and treated in accordance with the Audit Committee Procedures for Receipt, Retention and Treatment of Complaints Regarding Accounting, Internal Accounting Controls or Auditing Matters.
